Transfer rules and service periods

UPDATED 22 SEP 20264 MIN READ
Call transfers are a single switch: on, with one number to try, or off, with the AI handling every call itself. There is no separate timetable of hours the switch follows on its own — if you want transfers off for a stretch of the day, you turn the switch off for that stretch and back on afterwards.

Why turn it off at all

Mid-service is the obvious case: your hands are full and a transferred call rings out anyway. With transfers off, the AI still answers, still books, and simply never tries to put anyone through.

What a caller hears when nobody answers a transfer

The AI takes the call back rather than leaving the line ringing out into nothing, and can offer a message or a callback from there. It also won’t try the same transfer twice in one call — if the first attempt goes unanswered, it doesn’t make the caller sit through a second round of ringing.
GOOD TO KNOW
Flip transfers back on the moment you want them — the change applies to the next call, not the next day.
