No-show protection

UPDATED 22 SEP 20264 MIN READ
No-show protection uses a card held on file rather than a deposit taken up front — nothing is charged at booking, so a genuine customer never pays anything unless they simply don’t turn up.

What actually gets charged

The fee only applies to an appointment that's actually marked as a no-show — it isn't something that fires automatically the moment a booking passes its time. A booking that's cancelled, rescheduled or simply late is never treated as one by accident.

Waiving it

If a no-show fee shouldn't apply in a particular case — a genuine mix-up, a regular you'd rather not charge — that's a manual call your team makes on the booking itself, not an irreversible automatic charge.
GOOD TO KNOW
No fee is configured by default. You choose the amount, per service, in your booking settings — a business that’s never had a no-show problem can leave it off entirely.
