Gift cards and expiry rules

Every gift card Omniqu issues carries an expiry of at least three years from the day it’s bought — that floor is enforced by the platform itself, not left to a setting you could accidentally turn down.
Why three years, specifically
It's the legal minimum for gift cards sold in Australia. You can offer a longer expiry if you want to, but the system won't let a card be issued with a shorter one — the check runs at the point of sale, not after the fact.
GOOD TO KNOW
This isn’t a setting you can misconfigure into non-compliance by accident — it’s a hard floor on every card issued, whatever else you change.
Selling and managing cards
Gift cards are configured in Settings → Gift cards — amounts, design, and how they’re sold from your own site. Individual cards can be reissued or resent from the same place if a customer loses one.
