Deposits and card-holds

Per service, you choose how payment works at the point of booking — there are three modes, and 'none' is one of them. Nothing is charged unless you've turned one of the other two on.
The three modes
1Deposit — a set amount is charged when the booking is made; the balance is settled in person.
2Pay in full — the whole price is charged at the time of booking.
3Card on file — nothing is charged now; the card is held only in case a no-show fee applies later.
Releasing a deposit automatically
Each service has its own cancellation window. Cancel before it and the deposit is refunded automatically — no request to us needed. Cancel after it and the deposit is kept, which is the point of taking one.
GOOD TO KNOW
These are set per service in your booking settings, so a walk-in-friendly service and a fully-booked one can carry completely different rules.
